Sensory Path for Children with Autism

Robert and his helpers built a sensory path at Celebrate the Children, a school for students with autism and motoric difficulties. The path is designed to improve the students’ health and confidence and give them more independence in their abilities.

Robert is also a Scout with autism, motoric difficulties and epilepsy and has often had difficulty navigating the terrain on campouts, hikes and other outdoor activities. He wanted to help others like him.

  1. Wow that looks amazing Robert well done !! I’m creating a sensory garden for children with autism and a tactile pathway is on their list of choices , could you tell me what materials you used and how you got them to stick on and not fall out of their part of the pathway.A list of Measurements and material used would be a great help also .
    Many thanks
