Duffel Bags for Foster Kids

Day 1 Bags for Foster Kids in Texas

Hunter and his helpers completed, assembled and filled more than 100 duffel bags for foster kids in Kendall County, Texas. Over $10,000 was raised, and the project was featured on the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services website and local newspapers. After the project was completed, Hunter developed a plan where currently more than 3,000 bags have been purchased and filled for 22 counties in South Texas. He is hoping that this initiative goes statewide and ends black trash bags being used when a child moves into a foster home.
