Richard and his helpers cut brush and demolished a decrepit, old wooden footbridge over Creamery Brook. They then assembled and stained a new 40-foot wooden bridge over the brook.
The bridge is located at the beginning of two nature trails at the town-owned Donald Francis Recreation Park in Brooklyn, Conn.
