Hank and his team of 24 helpers rehabilitated a nature trail at the James K. Polk State Historic Site in Pineville, North Carolina. Their work involved replacing 53 rotten landscape timbers and adding 7.5 tons of gravel to the lower, flood-prone portion of the trail. This trail will link the Polk site to a future citywide greenway, increasing visitor activity to the site.
