Providing Coats to Homeless

Nicholas and his helpers provided warm coats to all 129 residents of a local homeless shelter. There are hundreds of homeless families in Collin County, and the Samaritan Inn is the only homeless shelter. In 2008, about 700 people were homeless in Collin County and about 200 of those were children. Homelessness can occur in many situations from unemployment to home foreclosure to domestic violence and abuse. People in these situations need help. A nice warm coat can make them feel warm on the outside and also on the inside to let them know that somebody cares about them.
