Regional Blood Drive

Thomas and helpers signed up more than 100 blood donors from around the northeast Seattle area. The recruiting efforts even brought in the district executive and assistant district chairperson to donate blood, and nearly half of the donors were first-time donors.

Each unit of blood was separated into platelets, plasma and red cells and will be used by different patients. The blood was collected by trained medical technicians who said that up to 129 lives benefited directly from this Eagle Scout Project.
