Researched and Installed Historic Trail Markers

Christopher and his helpers researched and identified the route traveled by the French Army under the command of General Comte De Rochambeau, to the Battle of Yorktown during the Revolutionary War in 1781.

The project provided fund raising, research with support from local historians, and the installation of road signs and trail markers to mark and identify the Trail of Rochambeau through his town. A website (eagleprojecttrailofrochambeau.weebly.com) was also created to provide local citizens with local history and importance of this national historic trail.
